I was born in Northern California, I have lived in the Bay Area most of my life. I currently live out of suitcases and backpacks in Oakland, California and Albuquerque, New Mexico.
My biggest and most recent photography project has been the demolition of the East span of the San Francisco/Oakland Bay Bridge. I have been shooting this project in earnest since the demolition began in 2013 – but my obsession began while watching the new span go up from my bus commute over the Bay Bridge in 2006.
